From A for aubergine to Z for zucchini – direct transport routes and short storage times ensure product that convince with crisp freshness and good taste. Complex, non-transparent supply chains, on the other hand, are the enemy of every fresh product and generate costs that deter end consumers. We at Organic Terra Rica know: the more direct, the better. Thanks to our local presence in Spain, we have first-hand knowledge of what is going on in the fields and greenhouses. We keep track in an increasingly fast-moving world – from production to food retail.
At Organic Terra Rica, the name says it all. We are convinced that only ecological, resource-conserving agriculture can preserve our Terra Rica (Spanish for: rich earth) and provide good food. Our Spanish organic producers do their best every day to produce sustainable, high-quality, fresh organic fruit and vegetables in harmony with nature, benefitting from many hours of sunshine and year-round warm temperatures on the Iberian Peninsula.
The community of Organic Terra Rica’s producers is growing steadily. They are all protagonists of organic farming who share a common vision: cultivating their land in such a way that future generations will still find fertile, rich soil (terra rica) here. From production planning and financing to packaging, distribution and logistics: together we achieve more than one alone – transparently and fairly.
Good agricultural practice to produce safe, fresh and tasty organic products is a matter of course for us. Global GAP, organic and Demeter certifications are proof of our commitment to climate and environmentally friendly fruit and vegetable cultivation in Spain. Our packing houses also meet the quality standards for safe and responsible food handling.
